The pot of turnip greens had mold on the bottom. The waiter said he saw several of the cast iron pots like that and that the dishes and silverware are not cleaned with soap and hot water. He said if a waiter needed forks for the table he would just some out of the bus tub.

This isn't one, to recommend

We ate at the restaurant in Hot Springs, AR, a few years ago. So we felt the Little Rock restaurant would be great, as well. It is in a great location, however, we have never been any more disappointed with any other restaurant, of any kind. The cornbread was dry and cold, the appitizers, were presented well, and were actually good. And then the entree... First, this restraurant is not a seafood restaurant. It only serves catfish, shrimp, and chicken. And then we received our food. The plates looked as though the cook, put two piees of fish, a potato, and two very well cooked hushpuppies, onto a plate, and served it up. The presentation, was exactly as I stated. What is really rediculous, it cost more than most steakhouses, such as Outback, Lonestar, etc.

It's more than the food

Great family restaurant. Their marinated onions are wonderful. The catfish is so much better than I can get in my hometown in Texas. I've been going to Cock Of The Walk since my daughter was young. I now have a grandchild. So, they are very consistent.
